018 - Mastery Learning

We wouldn’t build a house with only 70% of it’s foundation in place. And yet, we often accept 70% of concept knowledge and move on to the next lesson. When we do this we are building on a shaky foundation, and students will have gaps in their learning which will negatively impact future success. In this episode we discuss the importance of mastery learning and offer suggestions on how to do it well.
